1. From the cover, which clearly evokes Steeleye Span's masterful LP Now We Are Six, to the Rainbow-inspired track "Slither", this album is, put simply, Opeth trying to be anything but Opeth. Of course, in such wholescale mimicry, Opeth run afoul of one of the old paradoxes of "progressive" music: copying a band that was progressive forty.
